Welcome to the website of the Migrant Institute of Language and Computer Literacy (MILCL), the 21st century model of job skills program that prepares our young and adult migrants from all over the world to enter or re-enter today’s complex and competitive job market. This is the place where anyone can benefit from a network of quality training that covers the areas of job readiness, financial literacy, computer literacy, and English language proficiency (ESL). The institute is open to everyone who needs help in those areas, but targets specifically the disadvantaged, low-income communities of the Greater Phoenix area who need that competitive edge, and who happen to be on the wrong side of the Digital Divide. The demographic data about the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic speak volume of the amplitude of various inequalities that prevent us from being a society based on fairness and justice. MILCL is committed to offering a series of 3-month short sessions to empower the most vulnerable and equip them with the job skills they need to succeed with well-paying jobs and career opportunities. Continue to visit the site to get acquainted to our structure, our history, our body of work, and the ways you can help us fulfill our mission.

"America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand."
